meeting yourself exactly where you are is the fastest way to get to where you want to go.

Several years ago, I did something completely unexpected.

Amid a successful career as an actress in film and television in Los Angeles and New York, I stopped. I had recurring roles on two television series and had appeared in several other TV shows and films, and yet, the work began to feel hollow. I realized that I had lost my sense of self and creativity somewhere along the way.

I felt stuck and knew there was so much more to me.

Eventually, after a stint traveling through Italy, I moved back to New York City, where I taught and coached actors before being presented with another different path. Working in sourcing and developing fabrics for Tory Burch, I traveled around the globe, meeting incredible people and building memorable professional relationships. Even though I loved this new world, I still wasn’t vibrating as my highest self. I realized I was more interested in developing relationships than developing products. In meetings, I would drive conversations toward a greater purpose, and peers and colleagues began seeking me out for guidance and advice on navigating the corporate world.

Suddenly, something opened up and clicked. Being a part of someone’s evolution was my highest sense of connection.

I listened to that voice inside, left the fashion world, and applied to a program at Brown University, where I became a certified Executive Leadership and Communications Coach. Today, I work with executives in major corporations and entrepreneurs in various corporate sectors to hone their executive presence and connect with their confidence and credibility. I also have the great pleasure of facilitating communication trainings and workshops at institutes such as the Kellogg MBA program/Northwestern University and The Rhode Island Foundation’s Equity Leadership Initiative.

This work fulfills deep and simple joy. Communicating and connecting with others and being invited to experience one’s unique gifts and authentic nature unfolding into one’s own mastery is nothing short of exhilarating! Wow! Lucky me!
